The CareAccord Engagement Specialist will assist in the solicitation, training and management of users of the statewide Health Information Service Provider (HISP) program, CareAccord, , which offers Direct secure messaging services.. The CareAccord Engagement Specialist will work with provider associations, hospitals, clinics and others to enroll users in a flat file directory administered through the CareAccord program. The CareAccord Engagement Specialist will also assist with other internal OHIT program support as needed.

Duties include:

Answering CareAccord questions, provide information, and enroll users.
Conducting demonstrations of CareAccord, engagement, and training sessions related to CareAccord client implementations.
Creating and maintaining a dated, running client contact history for prospective and established clients in OHIT’s CRP System.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with all clients and stakeholders at local, regional, and state levels.
Developing and maintaining operational manuals.
Train staff in use of operational programs.
Serve as a first responder to complaints or requests for additional or technical assistance information.
Other duties as assigned.

Physical working conditions normally consist of those in a standard office environment.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (typically the weight of a box of paper).
Considerable use of a computer is involved.
Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel required.
Occasional evening and weekend work required.

Application Guidelines:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work;
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work;
