This position supports two programs in the Maternal and Childhood Health ( MCH) section of OHA: the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program and the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS-2) program.

Duties include:

Providing identification and analysis of business processes relating to the Tracking Home Visiting Effectiveness in Oregon (THEO) program and related contracts, including drafting and revising THEO documents such as the business case.
Providing maintenance of data collection and reporting process, including ongoing system development, training and support to MIECHV models in this area of data collection.
Assisting in MIECHV data collection, data entry and verification processes.
Processing MIECHV and THEO contracts and amendments; providing document management, including collecting and archiving all THEO communications.
Preparing weekly agenda for THEO meetings and monthly agenda for THEO Steering Committee meetings. Participate in weekly conference calls with the THEO vendor.
Composing and posting monthly communications on THEO status; support THEO trainings and rollout to counties and provide on-going user support.
Assisting with grant development to procure resources needed to sustain various maternal and child health programs as needed.
Entering completed questionnaires into data entry programs.
Assisting in generating monthly batch reports and data files.
Ensuring quality of PRAMS data.

Normal office environment. The person in this position works at a computer monitor. Occasional in-state travel to meetings.

Application Guidelines:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to Health or Public Health.


Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience related to Health or Public Health.
